Mainzeal has won five Gold Awards in the Registered Master Builders regional Commercial Project Awards. These commercial awards recognise excellence in three key elements of a commercial project: contract management, construction and design.
All regional commercial entries are judged by one national commercial project judging panel and the local events award Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards and a winner in each category.
Gold Awards are awarded to builders whose entries are judged to be at least 80% higher than industry standard and achieve 90% of the points available. There is no limit on the number of Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards given in each category.
2010 Gold Awards received by Mainzeal:
-
Clearview Primary School - Lowes Rd in Rolleston, Christchurch
-
Burnham Gymnasium in Burnham, Canterbury
-
New Zealand Supreme Court Building in Wellington (also overall regional Commercial Project of the Year)
-
Porirua College Redevelopment Stage 2 in Cannons Creek, Porirua
Gold Award projects may be elevated to National Gold Reserve Award status and then the national Commercial Project Award winners will be announced at the National Gala event being held later in November.
