King Facade New Zealand is a New Zealand based joint venture between Richina Land NZ and King Facade China, one of China’s leading curtain wall and façade businesses. It brings together local design, construction and project management experience with the engineering, technology and manufacturing capability of a true world class façade provider. Our office is based in Queen St, Auckland, and utilises a network of nationwide local contractors and fabricating companies to supplement our market offer.
Early engagement with a project at design or concept stage means we can provide pertinent advice and options for consideration at a stage in the project that maximises value engineering opportunities and avoids rework or redesign further on. We strive to provide flexible design options which let clients and consultants explore the project limits, both aesthetically and financially.
We provide access to products and technology not widely available in New Zealand. The scale of our partners means that we have access to extensive design and manufacturing capacity, providing faster turnaround of design, drawings and finished product for our clients.
We have five manufacturing bases throughout China utilising some of the most technologically advanced machinery available from Europe. The China Head Office is in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province in PRC. The manufacturing company currently employs 650 staff, including 160 technical engineers, plus up to 2000 independent site contractors.
We have also established our own MAF accredited storage facility in Auckland where we complete the devanning of containers and complete any local assembly and consolidation of our products. This facility is going to be supplemented by the introduction of our own IANZ accredited testing facility at the same address that will allow complete testing to AS/NZS4284. This booth will test for air leakage, water penetration and seismic integrity for all NZ designed and installed facades. This facility is planned for completion in February 2012.
